Stephanie Williams of Harcourts Williams, in Adelaide, was named the Number One Sales Consultant across Australia. She took out the number one spot at the Harcourts Australian Awards, held 31 May on the Gold Coast, surpassing over 1,500 other residential real estate sales consultants Australia-wide.
It is the first time that she has achieved the coveted number one spot, although she has been number one across South Australia.
“To be recognised as number one for doing a job I absolutely love is so amazing and the recognition is very humbling,” said Ms Williams shortly after receiving the honour.
“It means the world to me to be recognised at this performance level amongst such amazing peers.”
Upon accepting the award, she gave special thanks to her team members Rachel Oborn and Natalie Bryant.
With a long background in the business of retail and residential property before storming onto the South Australian real estate scene, Ms Williams noted that she set her sights on national distinction.
“When I joined Harcourts five years ago my all-time goal was to make it to Number 1,” she said. “I am so incredibly happy that I’ve achieved this massive accomplishment.
“For me though, it’s really all about my clients, and with my team achieving the very best market outcomes possible every time.”
Although her team may be small, they are highly focused. “We work very closely together to consistently provide the very highest levels of service to our clients all the time and like me they all love what they do,” she said. “Most of all, we always try to maintain a positive and happy vibe in our office.”
Harcourts Australia Group CEO Marcus Williams said that to be ranked the top sales consultant nationally is testimony to Ms Williams’ dedication to her clients and determination to living the Harcourts values of service.
To have achieved this recognition is especially meaningful as a business owner as well as a Mum.
“When you work at such an incredibly fast pace all the time, to take a moment and reflect on the last 12 months is incredibly surreal,” she said.
“As a mother of two teenagers it is also incredibly important to me for them to see what Mum does!
“Having the determination to never give up is also very important as this can be a tough business at times. I have been a sales person all my life and these life experiences assist in reading situations and reading them well. I have a structured working week that also assists in streamlining our processes throughout the business to create continuity and success.”
The gala black-tie awards evening, where outstanding performers were recognised across 33 categories in residential and commercial sales, property management and business achievements, celebrated Harcourts Group Australia’s 20th anniversary, and was the end of a three day annual conference.
