They say real estate is a career with a high churn rate; many start and few stay. But as far as stayers go, Eric Hartanto is the Winx of Perth’s luxury real estate market.
His consistency in the competitive world of property transactions is almost unbelievable.
Eric is consistently rated as Western Australia’s and Harcourts’ top real estate agent, and he appears to be reaching new heights each year; selling 106 properties valued at $124,396,378 for the financial year just gone. Along with a new milestone of having sold over $1B worth of properties throughout his career.
“The repeat success is a result of our routines, systems, and proven process. The discipline with which we set targets and maintain listings, sales to achieve results for our clients is central to our success,” Mr Hartanto said from his Harcourts Applecross office.
“Because we’re so committed to a process, we are able to provide the highest level of service at every stage of the real estate transaction process. So, clients receive the best possible result, and feel comfortable in the process.”
And this year has been a cracker for the markets Eric excels in; luxury riverfront properties in Southern and Western suburbs, from South Perth, Applecross, Attadale, to Dalkeith.
“Perth luxury property is very liquid. Anyone who has sold since Covid hit has sold well thanks to high demand and low supply,’ he explains.
“Perth is considered a safe haven and so we’re attracting record interest from expats in USA, Europe, and Asia, including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia; as well as some more surprising influxes of buyers from Australia’s eastern states.
Over 17 years, he’s been consistently at the top of his game and this year has been no different. Once again, at this year’s annual REIWA’s ball he claimed the coveted Grand Master title; a title he has attained for nine consecutive years. For seven years, he’s been the “best in blue”, as the leading Harcourts agent in his state. He sits second in the ranking for Top Assisted Salesperson by Value Sold across the entire industry in WA; though he’s held first place on previous occasions.
The CEO of Harcourts Australia says Eric has built his excellent reputation through hard work, professional service, and strong negotiation skills.
“Renowned for working tirelessly, Eric provides the highest level of service at every stage of the real estate transaction process,” Marcus Williams said.
“Eric’s ability to understand a client's needs has allowed him to continuously achieve his client’s goals and expectations. He maintains solid relationships throughout his career, growing his business mostly through referrals and repeat clients.”
“Eric leads a team of ten experienced agents, handling transactions for individuals and developers. Harcourts Applecross is a dynamic team of competent and qualified property consultants.”
Outside of work, Eric is active in philanthropic endeavors. He is heavily involved in community events, proudly supporting the local school, church and various non-profit organisations.
