Although Harcourts is quickly becoming a household name, the company is not content to rest on its success of becoming the third largest real estate franchise group in Australia in as little as two decades.
“2018 will be a year for strengthening the foundation of the business,” said Harcourts Group Australia CEO Marcus Williams.
“Last year we saw a decent increase in market share for settled sales along with an impressive group of new business owners opening Harcourts offices. In fact, our numbers improved significantly in the number of properties under management and new sales consultants joining the network.
“Time and again we hear that the reason for joining the Harcourts family is because of the distinct way people are valued. The culture is central to the experience, and a key factor in our expansion. Last year seven of our new offices were added by current business owners, growing their share within the markets they serve.”
In the past year, Harcourts has been acknowledged for its technology by Apple, and received key industry awards including the Real Estate Business Game Changer – Innovation and the RateMyAgent Award as Large Agency Network of the Year as voted by consumers.
Mr Williams credited the targeted team additions made in technology, finance, marketing, communications, training and property management.
“Each pillar of the business has been examined with significant investment directed to ensure all areas of the business are focused on the Harcourts vision of being the finest real estate experience for team members, clients and business partners,” he said.
“We haven’t yet seen the true potential and I’m quite pleased with the plan for our future.”
