The Real Estate Institute of Tasmania held their annual REIT Awards for Excellence on Saturday 10 October at the Wrest Point Casino.
The gala dinner shone the spotlight on excellence in the real estate industry, with growing franchise, Harcourts Tasmania taking out several top awards.
Colin Miller, of Harcourts Elite Bellerive won the REIT Achievement Award which recognises the excellence of newcomers to the industry in either residential or commercial sectors.
Jeremy Wilkinson of Harcourts Launceston, won Residential Sales Person of the Year.
Corporate Support Person of the Year was won by Anna Gooch, Harcourts Tasmania.
Medium Residential Agency of the Year was won by Harcourts Signature, whose business owners Greg and Candice Gottschalk were thrilled to receive their award.
Large Residential Agency of the Year went to Harcourts Launceston. Business owner and chief officer of Harcourts Tasmania, Tony Morrison was on hand to receive the award, along with fellow business owners Jeremy Wilkinson and Kate Littlejohn.
“It was wonderful for us to receive Large Residential Agency of the Year. We strive to put the client first in all that we do, and that really underpins the success that we’ve had,” says Mr Morrison.
This award recognises excellence in agency practice in the residential sector, where an agency employs 21 or more people.
