National Auction Team Added at Harcourts Australia

Harcourts Group Australia has announced the expansion of its auction training and support program. Key appointments to the newly formed Harcourts Auctions division are Christian Hamilton, who was promoted to Head of Auctions Australia and Sam Hinshelwood in the role of National Auctions Operations Manager.

“We are pleased to announce the expansion of our auction offering with key Harcourts team members to lead this initiative,” said Marcus Williams, CEO, Harcourts Group Australia. “This is a strategic move to ensure our sales consultants have industry leading training around the auction process, as well as the necessary support in making the Harcourts experience the finest in real estate.”

Mr Hamilton’s focus is on the ongoing professional development of sales consultants within the Harcourts network, and he will work with the Harcourts Academy to create a series of Sales and Auction trainings, workshops and live webinars.

Mr Hinshelwood began his Real Estate career April 2016 as Operations Manager for the Harcourts Queensland corporate team, where he worked to identify new growth opportunities for the Harcourts business. Before re-joining the corporate tea

m, Mr Hinshelwood (photo below) was a team member with a Harcourts franchise office in Brisbane.

“It is great to be able to formally take our Auctions training and leadership program national,” said Mr Hamilton. “And to have Sam come back to the corporate team after a successful stint with a Harcourts franchise office, means we have world-class operations as a foundation for success.”

Prior to this appointment Mr Hamilton was the Chief Auctioneer and Head Academy Trainer for Harcourts Queensland where his youthful energy, relentless work ethic and high-volume results made him one of the best auctioneers and sales trainers in the country. Mr Hamilton is licensed to call auctions in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
