In response to the Prime Minister’s announcement regarding Level 2 restrictions, the guidelines are in line with Harcourts’ support of property as an essential service and we are encouraged by the government’s support.

From our perspective, the news is the best possible result. It is entirely in line with our franchise network guidelines – no open homes and no in-person auctions in rooms or onsite. We must support the government’s efforts. It is crystal clear that restricting gatherings of any kind will slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Harcourts has invested significantly into technology and training to support our teams. Our network will continue with private inspections, virtual property tours and move all auctions to online.

As a group we are fortunate to have many business partners whose products and solutions will enable us to operate in this challenging market.

Harcourts is absolutely committed to ensuring a safe experience for our team and our clients. The real estate industry will be hit with obstacles, but we can rise to the occasion. It’s not business as usual, it’s certainly unusual and we are well-prepared. We all must play our part

We do not know 100% what each day will come, but by working together we will navigate through together as One Team.
