The following is a transcript of the induction speech presenting Lisa & Ben Bernacki into the Harcourts Hall of Fame. It was announced on 30 May during the Harcourts Australia National Conference 2018.
The Harcourts Foundation, the charitable arm of Harcourts Group Australia, announced grants to 15 Australian charities during its most recent quarterly funding round. A total of $58,170 was donated across Australia to benefit charities serving the communities where Harcourts employees live and work.
The Harcourts Foundation, the charitable arm of Harcourts, has reached the milestone of $5 million raised since its launch in 2008. That translates to 686 charities supported, 311 communities impacted and 851 grants made through Harcourts offices in New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa.
Harcourts Group Australia takes further market share moving to third position across Australia for the number of sales and value achieved year to date March 2017. CoreLogic reports a .4% and .3% increase of number of sales and value, respectively. With an estimated market value in third position overall against all real estate groups nationally, Harcourts was the only national group amongst the top five to have effected an increase in market value over the past quarter reporting, according to CoreLogic.
Harcourts Group Australia has announced that it will hold its 2017 Walk A Mile in Their Shoes fundraising event on Friday, 1 September 2017. At eight locations across Australia, Harcourts staff, family, friends and supporters will “walk a mile” in women’s heels to show solidarity and bring attention to the national tragedy that is violence against women. Raising funds through the group’s charitable arm, The Harcourts Foundation, all monies raised will support White Ribbon’s “Breaking the Silence” prevention initiatives in primary and secondary schools.
Leading real estate franchise network Harcourts Group Australia continues its expansion in Southeast Queensland by selecting Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast as its newest office location. The Harcourts Caloundra team will be led by dynamic husband and wife duo Luke and Katherine Carter.
Leading real estate franchise network Harcourts has reported record June sales in Tasmania, with recorded total sales of $98.1 million. “It was our biggest month ever, and represents an increase in almost three percent over our previous record month,” said Harcourts Tasmania CEO Tony Morrison, noting that the state real estate network of 25 offices is currently two times larger in sales volume than its nearest competitor.
At the gala Real Estate Business (REB) Awards in Sydney, Harcourts Group Australia was named Innovator of the Year 2017 across all real estate businesses in Australia. Recognition came for the Harcourts suite of industry leading mobile applications - eOne, eOpen and eCampaign – developed in-house and utilised across Harcourts’ 400 office network.

A total of $50,847 was donated across Australia to benefit charities serving the communities where Harcourts employees live and work. Since the Harcourts Foundation’s first donation in 2008, over 1000 grants have been made worldwide, with donations totalling over $4,800,000 NZD.
